  The 1955 Buick Century was a personal design favorite of Harley Earl himself. Mid 50s GM styling is often considered to the pinnacle of American car styling. Built on the smallest Buick platform of the year, the Century also boasted the most powerful engine, the 322 cubic inch Nailhead V8 rated at 236 horsepower. This is a turn-key example finished in its correct Cascade Blue & Dover White colors. It has been updated with modern air conditioning and is factory-optioned with power steering & power brakes in perfect working order.

The front and rear bumper chrome has been re-chromed along with the tail light bezels. This example displays original intact stainless and trim throughout even the trim around the gas door guard is in great shape. The glass is in good condition throughout. The trunk is clean and detailed, complete with the spare tire/wheel and trunk paneling. This 55 is one magnificent automobile that is truly ready to be enjoyed with its stunning paint finish and replated chrome bumpers, and perfect stainless. This should be considered a show car, but if one wishes, you could make this your personal car and drive it daily.

Over the years, driven sparingly, the odometer now reads 70,238 actual miles (which I believe to be true).

Front seat belts have been added for safety. The beautiful dash and components are all correct, with a working original radio. The temp gauge does not work. As you can see in one of the photos, an aftermarket gauge was installed. The car always runs cool. You can also see there is a horn button replacing the ring in the steering wheel. BTW, the clock keeps the correct time...once a day!

The photos indicate the correct color codes and VIN numbers.

The current NADA classic collectible appraisal guide says in average condition it is worth $24,100. However, our reserve is much lower.

An Affordable Land Yacht—Summer is Around the Corner

  This 1969 Cadillac DeVille Convertible runs great, stops and drives straight. The black top (Code B) with glass back is like new and comes with a boot. The black leather interior is in great shape—no tears. The floors in the interior and trunk are solid. The carpet is good and comes with Cadillac floor mats. All the power options work: windows, door locks, seats, steering and brakes (which are like new). All gauges are functional. Approx.5 years ago it was painted. The car is dent and rust free. No pitting or bubbles. The original color is Colonial yellow--code 40.

New: plugs, battery, muffler/tailpipe. The tires are still like new. All glass, including windshield, are in great shape.

The chrome is nice and shines, but there is a crack in the left lower front bumper (see photo). Also, the AC is not functioning at this time. The top works.

It has over 74K actual miles.
